Luke Adam Patel (born 6 October 1990) is an English cricketer. Patel is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire and was educated at Outwood Grange Academy.[1]
While studying for his degree in Sports at Durham University,[1] Patel made his first-class debut for Durham MCCU against Nottinghamshire in 2010. He made two further first-class appearances for the team in 2011, against Warwickshire and Yorkshire.[2] In his three first-class matches, he scored 90 runs at an average of 18.00, with a high score of 32.[3] With the ball, he took a single wicket which came at an overall cost of 75 runs.[4]
